Jewelry Size Guide
Choosing the right jewelry size helps ensure comfort, balance, and a more natural fit. This guide is designed to help you measure rings, bracelets, and necklaces before placing your order, especially when selecting meaningful pieces for daily wear, gifting, engagements, anniversaries, or special occasions.
Please note that size and fit may vary slightly depending on the design, band width, chain style, bracelet structure, personal preference, and how you like your jewelry to sit when worn. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend choosing the size that offers a more comfortable fit.
1. Ring Size Guide
A well-fitted ring should slide over the knuckle with slight resistance and sit comfortably at the base of the finger without feeling too tight or too loose. Because finger size can change throughout the day, careful measuring is important.
Measure a Ring You Already Own: Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably. Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters using a ruler or caliper, then compare the measurement with the size chart below.
Measure Your Finger: Wrap a thin strip of paper, string, or flexible measuring tape around the base of your finger. Mark where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimeters. This measurement is your finger circumference.
Helpful Measuring Tips: Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is usually at its largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold, as fingers may be smaller than usual. For wider ring bands, consider choosing a slightly larger size for a more comfortable fit.
| US Ring Size | Inside Diameter | Finger Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| US Size 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm |
| US Size 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| US Size 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| US Size 8 | 18.2 mm | 57.0 mm |
| US Size 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| US Size 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm |
2. Bracelet Size Guide
Bracelet fit depends on wrist size, bracelet style, and personal preference. A delicate chain bracelet may sit closer to the wrist, while a tennis bracelet, charm bracelet, or layered bracelet may feel more comfortable with a little extra room.
How to Measure Your Wrist: Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you normally wear a bracelet. If you do not have a measuring tape, use a strip of paper or string, mark the meeting point, then measure it with a ruler.
For a close fit, add about 0.25–0.5 inch to your wrist measurement. For a comfortable everyday fit, add about 0.75–1 inch. For a looser fit, add about 1.25 inches or more, depending on your preferred style.
| Bracelet Size | Bracelet Length | Recommended Wrist Size |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 6.5 inches / 16.5 cm | Up to 6.25 inches |
| Medium | 7.5 inches / 19 cm | Up to 7 inches |
| Large | 8.5 inches / 21.5 cm | Up to 7.75 inches |
3. Necklace Size Guide
Necklace length affects how a piece frames the neckline and how it pairs with different outfits. The same necklace length may appear slightly different depending on neck size, height, body shape, pendant size, and the neckline of your clothing.
| Style | Length | Typical Fit |
|---|---|---|
| Choker | 14–16 inches / 35–40 cm | Sits closely around the neck. |
| Princess | 17–18 inches / 43–46 cm | Falls around or just below the collarbone. |
| Matinee | 20–24 inches / 51–61 cm | Falls below the collarbone and works well for layering. |
| Opera | 28–34 inches / 71–86 cm | Falls lower on the chest and creates an elegant long-line look. |
| Rope | 35 inches / 89 cm and above | A longer style that can be worn alone, layered, or wrapped. |
4. Choosing the Right Fit
For daily wear, comfort should be the priority. Rings should not restrict circulation, bracelets should allow natural wrist movement, and necklaces should sit comfortably without pulling or feeling too tight.
For stacking rings, layered necklaces, or multiple bracelets, consider how each piece will sit together. A slightly more relaxed fit may provide better comfort when several pieces are worn at the same time.
For gifts, it is helpful to check an existing ring, bracelet, or necklace that the recipient already wears comfortably. If exact sizing is uncertain, choose a versatile size where possible or contact our customer support team before ordering.
